Codevolt
2.0
3 Days. Fully Offline. Overnight Sprint.
Teams of 3–5 turn a raw idea into a real startup, then pitch it to people who had built one.
The Thesis: From 0s and 1s to
0 → 1
Everyone has ideas. The difference is who has the courage to build them and the judgment to know which ones are worth pursuing.
That's what CodeVolt 2.0 is about. For three days, you'll be surrounded by hundreds of builders chasing the same goal, each taking a completely different path. You'll question assumptions, scrap ideas, pivot, rebuild, and maybe even start over. That's part of the process.
By the end, what you have won't just be another MVP. It could be the beginning of a product with the potential to become something bigger. And even if it isn't, you'll leave knowing that your next breakthrough could be just three days away.

OUR
RULES
Chaos needs a container to become creation.
These are the high-voltage parameters where your raw potential turns into kinetic innovation. Read them. Breathe them. Break everything else.
Format
Teams of 3-5 builders. No solo entries.
Duration
3 Days non-stop. Overnight sprint.
Eligibility
Any year, any college, any discipline.
Location
Offline. VIT, Vellore. September 9–11.
How it Works: 3 Days. 3 Gates.
The journey follows the full arc of early-stage startup building: problem selection, validation, trade-offs, and defense.
Not every team reaches the final day.
Day 1: The Idea
Clarity begins here.
Identify a real problem, question every assumption, and, most importantly, decide what not to build.
Day 2: The Product
Execution exposes reality.
Turn intent into a functional MVP. Validate with real use cases and navigate difficult trade-offs.
Day 3: The Business
Readiness matters.
Define value, map your users/market, and present a working product.
The Builder’s Evaluation
We don't use scorecards or predefined checklists. Teams are evaluated the way early-stage startups are: through decisions, clarity, and execution.
A Note on AI: AI can help you move faster, but it cannot decide for you. Teams relying on AI-generated ideas or copied concepts will be disqualified.
| Focus On | What Matters | What Doesn't |
|---|---|---|
| Problem Clarity | Clear thinking > Complex features | Animated slides |
| User Understanding | Honest validation > Assumptions | Buzzwords & Trending Tech |
| Product Thinking | Direction > Speed | Overbuilding |
| Business Sense | Decision Ownership | AI-generated "decisions" |
